Indie heroes British Sea Power have been busy putting the finishing touches to forthcoming film soundtrack ‘Man Of Aran’, and are set to take the material on the road for two intimate UK gigs in London and Brighton as well as a show at the Morecambe Library in August.
The Brighton-based outfit were asked to soundtrack ‘Man Of Aran’ last year, a re-release of a film originally made in 1934 which will be released on 4th May.
The soundtrack will feature brand new music, plus re-worked versions of tracks ‘True Adventures’, ‘The Great Skua’ and ‘North Hanging Rock’ – as well as a cover of Jeff Alexanders’ ‘Come Wander With Me’.
British Sea Power will also be be returning to play in Brighton at this year’s Great Escape Festival in May alongside Black Lips, The Big Pink and many more.
