Sing Ye From The Hillsides II - Details

Maverick British indie stars British Sea Power are to curate a new instalment of their festival ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides’.

British Sea Power like to do things differently. The indie group wear antique clothing, have a dancing bear and sell merchandise such as novelty cups and their own home brewed beer.

An always entertaining live act, British Sea Power have turned themselves into festival favourites. Now the group have confirmed plans to bring back their weekend long event ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides’.

Taking place in Tan Hill Inn – Britain’s highest pub – the band will be joined by some friends for a series of special performances. Alongside full sets from British Sea Power the group always have a few secrets up their sleeve.

Teaming up with the team behind Kendall Calling, the new instalment of ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides’ will star a number of special guests. Tickets will be strictly limited to just 250, with fans able to get their hands on a golden brief from 9am on Friday (March 19th). Expect these to sell out quickly!

Full line up details are due to be announced shortly.

The first time British Sea Power held ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides’ they were joined by Klaxons as well as members of Arctic Monkeys, Simian Mobile Disco and more. Tan Hill Inn, meanwhile, enjoys lingering fame of its own with drinkers being snowed in for over a day during winter.

Recently British Sea Power confirmed that they are working on their new album. Guitarist Noble blogged from the studio, revealing that new material could yet emerge by the end of the year.

Sing Ye From The Hillsides II takes place between April 31st – May 2nd.
