British Sea Power Festival Details

Tan Hill Inn line up confirmed

Indie mavericks British Sea Power have unveiled the line up for their festival ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides’.

British Sea Power tend to do things their own way. Lost in the Yorkshire moors, the band somehow happened upon the Tap Hill Inn – the highest pub in the country.

Curating a festival there in 2008, the event has gone down in the band’s folklore as a right rollicking weekend. Now British Sea Power are set to return to the pub for another dose of festival fun.

Joining the band at ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides II’ are a varied cast. London electro rockers Metronomy are due to perform, fresh from the success of their album ‘Lights Out’.

Currently working on new material, the group are set to take a break from the studio to attend the Tap Hill event. Also confirmed for the festival are the likes of Sunday Best signings Kitty, Daisy And Lewis, iLike Trains and Race Horses.

Elsewhere, spectral folk newcomers Esben & The Witch are set to drop by adding their unique atmospherics to the remote location. Also set to perform are French duo John And Jehn, while The Goldheart Assembly are preparing to drop by.

British Sea Power are preparing a number of surprises for the event, with ‘Sing Ye From The Hillsides II’ set to boast hot air balloons and much more. On the final day the group are promising to host Britain’s Highest Tea Party, while specially brewed ‘British Ale Power’ will be on sale all weekend.

The initial batch of tickets sold out instantly, with the group now making 20 extra tickets available to buy.

Act quick – or watch them fly off the shelves!

Sing Ye From The Hillsides II takes place between April 30th – May 2nd.
