Bristol’s Simple Things Festival Returns For 10th Edition

With sets from Max Cooper, Julio Bashmore, Fever Ray, and more...

Bristol’s Simple Things Festival will return next year for its 10th edition.

The festival runs between February 23rd – 29th, and boasts a closing performance from electronic innovator Fever Ray. The full bill is well worth exploring, and features a full evening and night programme on February 24th.

Max Cooper will host a live 3D/AV show, while Giant Swan’s crushing sonics will no doubt be a highlight. Les Save Fav return to Bristol for Simple Things, while dancefloor heroes such as Julio Bashmore and Saoirse will also take pride of place.

Ireland’s Gilla Band are due to perform at Simple Things while the eclectic bill also finds room for Warmduscher, Wu-Lu, Flowdan, Honeyglaze, and more.

Tickets go on sale from September 29th, find the full details online.

Simple Things Director Thomas Frost says…

Bringing back Simple Things for its 10th edition was always going to happen, but between Covid and the renovation at the Bristol Beacon it’s not been possible to create the landmark we all wanted. So we’re absolutely overjoyed to be back with a full programme. Returning to The Beacon feels like we’re coming home, as it’s always been at the centre of some of Simple Things’ most exhilarating moments.

We also can’t wait for the thrill of wandering around all the venues, immersing ourselves in the usual heady array of sounds that have always been the staple of Simple Things. Bringing back our DJ-led night programme to naturally complete Simple Things on the dance floor was also essential. It’s our favourite 16 hours of any year, and this one will be the most special edition yet.

Simple Things Festival runs between February 23rd – 29th.
