Boomtown Fair is back again – but will it rain or shine on the festival…?
The much-loved event has garnered a community feeling, building on its foundations to become bigger with each passing year. 2024 bodes well, with Boomtown Chapter Three: Revolution of Imagination getting firmly under way.
The line-up contains some big names, cult heroes, and new voices, with Boomtown Fair welcoming high profile sets from dance giants Pendulum, Mercury winners Ezra Collective, Gentleman’s Dub Club, Damian Jr Gong Marley, Ghetts, SBTRKT, and more.
In all, there are eight districts to explore on-site, with around 60,000 fans set to travel to Boomtown Fair this weekend.
So, what’s the weather going to be like for Boomtown Fair 2024?
The latest from Met Office on what can be expected this week is as follows:
- Thursday, August 8th: Highs of 22C and lows of 16C, with sunny intervals turning to overcast by late morning.
- Friday, August 9th: Highs of 24C and lows of 14C, with sunny intervals appearing throughout the day.
- Saturday, August 10th: Highs of 22C and lows of 14C, with sun and clouds turning to overcast by the evening.
- Sunday, August 11th: Highs of 22C and lows of 14C
Boomtown Fair 2024 travel
Fans need to get to Winchester rail station, and shuttles will run between the station and the festival site itself. Regular coaches have been booked for fans. Drivers will need to book a car parking space – you can find out everything about getting to Boomtown on the official website here.
