Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Gazelle Twin, Mary Lattimore For Supersonic 2024

The left-field showcase returns...

Birmingham’s mighty Supersonic Festival returns later this year.

The event is a key fixture for the underground, bringing together some defiantly non-mainstream voices in a celebration of the creativity that exists beyond the mainstream.

Running between August 30th and September 1st, the first names on the line up include seminal American songwriter Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, Gazelle Twin, acclaimed harpist Mary Lattimore, and more.

Grove returns to Supersonic after their incredible set in 2022, presenting an all-new collaborative project alongside Toya Delazy and TaliaBle

The bill also makes room for composer Robert Aiki Aubrey Lowe, metal duo Vile Creature, and Tristwch Y Fenywod – a Welsh language gothic rock power-coven.

Lisa Meyer, Artistic Director and Festival co-founder, comments…

“We were blown away by the love and recognition we received last year when we celebrated 20 years since the inception of Supersonic festival. More so than ever, in these challenging and uncertain times, we are motivated with an urgency to seek out and champion the most important artists from the underground and to create opportunities for shared experiences with a program that can bring joy and unite us.”

Tickets are on sale now.

Supersonic Festival runs between August 30th – September 1st.
