Bombay Bicycle Club Add Matinee

London show announced

Bombay Bicycle Club have added a matinee show to their upcoming stint in London.

Barely out of their teens, Bombay Bicycle Club suddenly sound all grown up. The London based group have swapped jaunty indie anthems for something more heartfelt, and dare we say it more mature.

Second album ‘Flaws’ saw the band rifle through their parent’s record collection, finding some gems amongst the ‘ABBA Gold’ compilations. Reaching for their acoustic guitars, Bombay Bicycle Club revealed another side to them.

Containing new tracks, re-worked favourites and even a daring cover of Joanna Newsom ‘Flaws’ was a wonderful return from the band. Receiving critical acclaim, Bombay Bicycle Club have already begun work on their third album.

However before they can get back in the studio the group have organised a series of special shows. Taking place in London, the two shows will now be complimented by a very special matinee performance.

Due to perform at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on December 4th, a lunchtime show has now been added. The following date Bombay Bicycle Club will perform at The Troxy, bringing a year of transition to a close.

“We are happy to announce two special end of year shows in London, one electric at the Troxy and one acoustic at the Queen Eizabeth Hall. There will be a limited number of tickets that cover both shows which works out cheaper than buying them separately.”

“We understand how frustrated everyone else will be but we cannot take too much time away from writing our third album. Next year there will be a lot more touring with the new record and we will make sure to go everywhere, even Cornwall”

Bombay Bicycle Club are due to play the following shows:

December
4 London Queen Elizabeth Hall (Matinee show)
4 London Queen Elizabeth Hall (Matinee show)
5 London The Troxy
