Blur, Queens Of The Stone Age For Roskilde 2023

A host of names added to the Danish event...

Blur, Queens Of The Stone Age, and Tove Lo have joined the line up for Roskilde 2023.

The Danish festival is one of Europe’s key live music events, with its unique ethos attracting some stellar names. Next summer will prove to be no exception, with reunited Britpop legends Blur topping the spectacular bill.

Set to play three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, Blur’s festival itinerary is already looking immaculate. The band will hit Roskilde, part of a new wave of artists boasting 19 names from 10 different countries.

So, expect ruthless honesty from Nordic alt-pop trailblazer Tove Lo, the majestic Japanese Breakfast, and all-out energy from Nigerian star Adekunle Gold.

Queen of bounce hip-hop Big Freedia hits Roskilde, joined by stunning American cross-genre aesthete Sudan Archives.

Roskilde Festival’s Head of Programme, Anders Wahrén, says:

“Blur with Damon Albarn at the front encapsulates what Roskilde Festival represents: a continuous movement and development in collaboration with new partners – on a foundation shared by us all. We have formed a close partnership with Albarn since Blur’s first concert at Roskilde Festival in 1992 and it is always a great pleasure to experience what he brings to the Danish audience.”

Tickets are on sale now, full details can be found on the Roskilde website.

Roskilde runs between June 24th – July 1st.
