Blur played a tiny London show last week, airing material from upcoming album 'The Magic Whip' for the first time.
A tiny step in a long journey, the band will also play an epic Hyde Park show for British Summertime. Now, the group have also confirmed plans for a headline performance at the Isle Of Wight Festival.
Joining fellow headliners Fleetwood Mac, Blur will trawl through their catalogue for the vast festival crowd.
Graham Coxon said: "These summer shows are going to be quite different to the gigs we did a few years back. We're excited to play the new record live and we'll have some surprises in store for the fans too."
Alex James said: "The British summer is just not complete without a trip to a festival. We've never played Isle of Wight Festival before so we're really looking forward to this one. And we get to take our tour bus on a boat."

Isle Of Wight Festival runs between June 11th – 14th.
