Returning for another mammoth bout of music and mysticism, the line up for this year's Glastonbury is a closely guarded secret.

Or, at least, it was. Blondie dropped past the NME Awards, playing an eight song set which straddled the new wave icons' career.

Speaking to reporters outside the event, frontwoman Debbie Harrie let slip that the group would be playing Glastonbury.

"We just heard today – we’re going to be doing Glastonbury" she revealed.

Debbie Harry was named Godlike Genius at the event, with Glastonbury itself picking up Best Festival.

Glastonbury runs between June 25th - 29th.
