Black Sabbath have announced plans for a full UK tour this December – tickets go on sale shortly.
If 2013 has been a year dominated by comebacks and resurgences, then for metal fans the biggest return of all is just around the corner. Black Sabbath have reformed, with their new Rick Rubin produced studio album '13' set to be released on June 10th.
Featuring original members Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butler, this represents the band's first studio document since 1978. Recently completing a one off UK show, the group were on prime form.
This morning (April 8th) Black Sabbath have confirmed another batch of tour dates, allowing fans to bask in their primordial rock sludge once more.
Opening on December 10th at the O2 Arena in London, the band will play shows in Belfast, Sheffield, Glasgow and more. Appropriately, Black Sabbath will close the tour with a no doubt emotional homecoming show at Birmingham's LG Arena on December 20th.
Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (April 12th).
