The first names for this year’s Big Wheel Sunday event in Regents Park this August have been revealed, with British Sea Power, Alabama 3 and multi-instrumental folk heroes Tunng joining the bill.
Taking place over the course of three weeks between August16th and September 6th, the shows will see a band perform every weekend for four consecutive weeks.
British Sea Power will headline the first show, with Alabama 3 playing an acoustic set and Tunng taking the next weeks’ slot, with a fourth act is still to be confirmed for the last night (6th Sep).
Returning recently with their soundtrack album for ‘Man Of Aaran’ (a re-release of the original 1934 flick which they were asked to supply a soundtrack for last year) British Sea Power are set for a busy summer, continuing their penchant for playing alternative venues (see: caves, museums, forests) by doing a series of library gigs and festival appearances.
