Set in the shadow of a dramatic church Minster, the Beverley Festival is one of England’s most unique events.
Held in a small village on the Yorkshire Wolds, Beverley Festival has grown to attract some of the top names from the folk world and beyond. A small but familiar affair, Beverley blends music with ales and home made food to produce something really unique.
This year’s event can boast an international line up headed by British folk legend Billy Bragg. The protest singer will be joined by Mercury nominated singer Seth Lakeman, alongside an eclectic bill that caters for all the family.
Eliza Carthy will perform, alongside some of the folk world’s rising stars including Scotland’s award winning Anna Massie Band. For the first time the festival can boast a dedicated Americana stage, showcasing some of the finest roots music from across the Atlantic.
With country stars sharing the billing with Britain’s only acoustic ska band, there really is something for everyone.
Beverley festival takes place between June 19th – 21st.
