Sunday Best have announced a Bestival warm up gig at Proud Camden with head honcho Rob Da Bank and teenage Rhythm & Blues prodigies, Kitty Daisy and Lewis, performing live.
Happening on Wednesday 2nd September, the gig is Kitty Daisy and Lewis’ first UK appearance in six months following a stint on the road with Coldplay. Also appearing is one half of Dan Le Sac vs Scroobius Pip , Dan Le Sac, the Sombrero Sound System and Rob Da Bank himself.
Bestival itself takes place on the Isle of Wight from 11th to 13th September with bands appearing including Kraftwerk, Massive Attack, Elbow, MGMT, Fleet Foxes, Doves and Lily Allen and, most excitingly, this year’s fancy dress theme is ‘2009: A Space Oddity’. It promises to be quite a carry on.
