Bestival Go… Back To The Phuture!

New additions to line up

Bestival is set to launch a new batch of entertainment with their latest arena Back To The Phuture.

Held on the Isle Of Wight, Bestival is one of the most unique events around. The festival continually adds new and inventive features, with this summer’s instalment opening with ‘Back To The Phuture’.

Held in conjunction with the cult clubnight of the same name, ‘Back To The Phuture’ will ease fans into four days of music and mayhem. Amongst the acts confirmed for the festival are Heaven 17, Howard Jones and more.

Mixing 80s legends with newcomers, organisers have booked a special DJ set from La Roux. Meanwhile Kids On Bridges will perform while Scandinavian electro pop outfit Villa Nah are also due to appear.

Rob Da Bank told fans: “Bestival is really gonna get off to a flyer on the Thursday night with our new partnership with Back To The Phuture, one of the most forward looking backwards respecting nights out there! From the 80s to the 21st century its gonna go off..”

Of course, the vast Bestival site means that there is much more than just one arena. Headliners this year include The Prodigy, with more acts being added to the line up the whole time.

Chillwave producer Toro Y Moi will perform live, with the American beatsmith being joined by Uffie, Dengue Fever and Canadian ex pat Caribou. Elsewhere, Yuck are amongst the latest additions while South Central, O. Children and Bikini Beach Club have all been added to the bill.

Bestival takes place between September 9th – 12th.
