As well as joining Neil Young for his massive UK summer show at London’s Hyde Park, Ben Harper is set to return with a new album on April 27th.
Formed with long time friends, Harper’s new band Relentless7 are a four-piece who first jammed while making Harper’s album ‘Both Sides Of The Gun’. The musicians hit it off, with Harper telling US magazine Rolling Stone that “in that moment I knew I’d be hooking back up with these guy at some point”.
The album, ‘White Lies For Dark Times’, was recorded over the summer of 2008 with his new band, who Harper also plans to play with over the summer, announcing a headline show at the London Forum on the 19th April.
