Bella Union are set to head to End Of The Road in order to celebrate their 15th anniversary.
One of Britain’s most respected independent labels, Bella Union have battled their way to the ripe old age of 15. Toasting their anniversary, the imprint are set to curate a stage at this year’s End Of The Road festival.
Curating a stage, Bella Union will present a showcase of their roster on August 31st. Label founder Simon Raymonde has taken a hands on approach, with the line up reflecting their recent output.
Scandinavian duo I Break Horses will appear, alongside British indie pop quartet Veronica Falls. Jonathan Wilson will stop by, while legendary British songwriter Roy Harper is also planning to perform.
A quote from Simon Raymonde: “Bella Union and End of The Road Festival have so much in common, most notably our taste in bands, and having had several bands over the last 5 years who have headlined there, like Fleet Foxes, Explosions In The Sky, and Midlake, all of whom loved every minute, it seemed that when discussing what we should do for our 15th Anniversary a conversation with them was a good starting point. The outcome is something very special and this will be the pinnacle of our anniversary celebrations throughout 2012.”
