Beady Eye have confirmed details of their first ever UK tour, set to open in March.
Formed from the ashes of Oasis, Beady Eye are a raucous return from Liam Gallagher. The iconic frontman has been joined by fellow Oasis veterans Andy Bell and Gem Archer alongside new drummer Chris Sharrock.
The project has remained under lock and key for almost 12 months, honing new material in secretive writing sessions. Now Beady Eye are set to begin their assault on the music world, with a free download erupting last week.
Driven by some Stones aping piano and pounding drums, the free mp3 was a much talked about start from the group. Beady Eye are influenced by classic rock ‘n’ roll, with Liam Gallagher citing T Rex as an influence.
Now the band have confirmed details of their debut UK tour. Beady Eye are set to play a series of events next Spring, beginning with a two night stand in Glasgow.
The band will play two nights at the historic Barrowlands venue, traditionally a stronghold of Oasis fans. Opening on March 3rd, the Scottish shows will kickstart the new tour which includes several shows.
Moving South from Scotland, the Beady Eye tour bus will stop in Liam Gallagher’s hometown of Manchester for two shows. Taking place at the Apollo the shows on March 6th and 7th will no doubt be a special return.
Ending in London on March 9th and 10th, Beady Eye will finish the tour with two special shows in the capital. Taking place in the Troxy, tickets for the tour are set to go on sale this Friday (November 26th).
