BBC Radio 6 Music Festival Returns To Manchester

Dates confirmed for 2025 edition...

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival will return to Manchester next year.

The multi-venue festival has criss-crossed the country over the years, but it is now firmly ensconced in Greater Manchester. Earlier today, 6 Music host Nick Grimshaw (sitting in for Lauren Laverne) announced that the next 6 Music Festival will take place from March 26th to 29th.

Running across four days, BBC Radio 6 Music Festival will occupy some of the city’s most-loved venues, offering a blend of live performances and DJ sets.

The full range of the station’s presenters will be broadcasting live from MediaCityUK in Salford, as well as from the festival venues.

Samantha Moy, Head of BBC Radio 6 Music says: “We’re really proud that our festival brings listeners truly unique performances from the artists they love, alongside a celebration of the fantastic acts that are emerging from Greater Manchester – and 2025 will be no different. We’re so looking forward to bringing the whole station to Greater Manchester again and for four days of incredible live music.”

BBC Radio 6 Music Festival will run between March 26th to 29th.
