A new Bataclan Memorial Concert has been announced, with all proceeds going to the Nick Alexander Trust.
The events are the Bataclan almost a year ago still linger, with countless families missing a loved one, countless friends missing a companion.
British merchandiser Nick Alexander was killed during the atrocity, with his family subsequently setting up the Nick Alexander Trust.
New memorial concert A Peaceful Noise takes place on November 15th at London venue Shepherd's Bush Empire, a tribute both to those who lost their lives that evening and to the solidarity that followed.
The line up features Frank Turner, Maximo Park, Gaz Coombes, Fran Healy, and many more, with tickets on sale now.
Zoe Alexander, Nick’s sister and A Peaceful Noise founder said: “Live music was Nick’s passion and it seemed only fitting that we mark the anniversary of his passing in this way. Everyone who lost their lives that night had a shared love of music and we’re thrilled to bring some of Nick’s favourite artists together for this celebration of unity, peace and rock and roll”.
Frank Turner adds: “Losing Nick in the horrible events in Paris was the worst part of last year; he was truly one of the good guys. Bringing people together in the spirit of peace and music for an evening is the least we can do for his memory, I'm honoured to be asked to play”.
