Southampton based garage punks Band Of Skulls have added new tour dates ahead of their latest single.
Emerging from the South Coast with a ferocious live show and a clutch of great songs, Band Of Skulls soon attracted a cult following. The timid London audiences were little prepared for the trio’s display of blood, sweat and rock ‘n’ roll.
The group’s take-no-prisoners live show gave way to the artistic success of their debut album. Released last year ‘Baby Darling Doll Face Honey’ won rave reviews, with Band Of Skulls rock antics a welcome relief from the onslaught of synth pop.
Taking a short break at the beginning of the year, Band Of Skulls have confirmed details of a new single. Taken from their debut album the forthcoming track ‘Death By Diamond And Pearls’ is set to be released on May 17th.
A bristling ball of punk energy, it reels and rocks as only Band Of Skulls can. Continually writing new material, the band have decided to take a break from the rehearsal room to let their live show breathe.
Band Of Skulls are set to play their biggest UK headline tour to date. Following on from the success of February’s jaunt, the trio are set to head across the nation playing some of their biggest shows.
Opening in Leeds on May 7th, the tour moves around the country with Band Of Skulls finishing the tour in London’s Electric Ballroom on May 14th. Fans had better move quick, though – tickets for the London show have already sold out!
