Band Of Horses Announce British Tour

Following Reading and Leeds triumph

Glistening country dons Band Of Horses have confirmed a host of British tour dates later this year.

It’s been a year of spectacular success for Band of Horses. Retreating to their native South Carolina, sessions for their new album resulted in the confident return ‘Infinite Arms’ which was rewarded with critical plaudits.

A favourite with fans, it’s streamlined sound found a much wider audience. Breaking through to the mainstream, Band Of Horses watched as the album stormed the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

An always powerful live band, Band Of Horses recently stormed Reading and Leeds. Playing both legs of the mammoth festival the band mixed new material with songs from their now classic early albums.

Set to tour across North America as the year draws to a close, Band Of Horses will open 2011 with a series of British and European dates.

A recent tour with Pearl Jam saw the band hone their live chops, pushing their way into the world of arena shows. Expanding their sound, Band Of Horses are now primed to play their biggest UK shows to date.

Opening on January 26th, Band Of Horses will play a set in Newcastle’s O2 Academy before travelling around the country. Visiting Glasgow, Birmingham, Bristol and more the tour extends throughout January and February.

Ending with a show at London’s Brixton Academy on February 3rd, the Carolina group will then travel to the continent for some as yet unconfirmed European dates.

Tickets for the British dates go on sale this Friday (September 3rd) with support acts due to be announced shortly.
