The eight annual London Latin Music Festival, or La Linea as it is known, has been announced for 2008 and a star-studded bill is expected.
Headed up by Caribbean wonders Ska Cubano, the festival boasts a massive array of Latin DJs and live bands. Highlights include The Ipanemas, the Brazilian originators of afro-bossa music. In addition to this, the festival boasts an appearance by Argentinian composer Lalo Schifrin – the man who scored “Mission: Impossible”, amongst others.
La Linea has built an international reputation as world-class showcase for contemporary Latin music.
The London Latin Music Festival takes place in various venues across London between April 2nd – May 3rd.
