Rochdale electronic icons Autechre are amongst the latest acts to be confirmed for The Glade.

The Glade began life as the dance stage at Glastonbury, a renegade event within a renegade event. Growing into a fully fledged weekender of its own, the festival has gone on to become one of Britain’s most respected dance events.

This year organisers have unveiled a typically stunning bill. Rochdale electronic group Autechre are to headline The Glade, following from the release of their typically groundbreaking album ‘Oversteps’.

ClashMusic are fans – after all, we streamed the album exclusively no the site. A jaw-dropping live act, Autechre remain one of the most forward thinking groups in British music.

Joining the Rochdale dons on the bill for The Glade are the likes of dubstep allstar project Magnetic Man, who were snapped up by a major label after just one limited edition twelve inch release.

Plastician is due to bring the noise, while Skream and Benga will play a back to back set. Brighton duo Fuck Buttons released one of last year’s finest albums, with ‘Tarot Sport’ refining their otherworldly electronica.

In addition to this techno don Jeff Mills will pop by, while DFA Records newcomers Holy Ghost! are due to play a live show.

Meanwhile, organisers have confirmed that anyone who parachutes into the event will gain free entry. Obviously admiring the power of an almighty blag, The Glade will throw open ita doors to anyone who achieves this stunning feat.

The Glade takes place between July 15th – 18th.
