Kasabian make a slip up...
Rolling Stones

The Rolling Stones could be set to play Glastonbury - if Kasabian are to be believed.

Returning after a year off, Glastonbury will - for many - rank as one of the summer's true highlights. Speculation has already begun as to the identity of the headliners, with many convinced that The Rolling Stones are set to visit Worthy Farm.

Chatting to MTV earlier this week, Kasabian seemed to let the cat out of the bag. Serge Pizzorno was asked about the band's performance, and accidentally confirmed an appearance from the legendary rockers.

“I hope ours is the most talked about performance of the weekend" he said, "but that would be a miracle because The Rolling Stones are playing Glastonbury.”

Some acts have already been confirmed for Glastonbury. The Dance Arena has been re-worked into the Silver Hayes arena, with Nas set to headline alongside performances from Disclosure, AlunaGeorge, David Rodigan, Hot Natured and more.

Glastonbury runs between June 26th - 30th.
