Arctic Monkeys New York Show

Terminal 5 dates confirmed

Sheffield indie giants Arctic Monkeys have added an extra date to their stint at New York venue Terminal 5.

Arctic Monkeys have stormed back to the top of the charts. The Sheffield band returned with their third album earlier this year, the artistic success that was ‘Humbug’.

Recorded in the Californian desert with Josh Homme at the controls, the tapes were then flown to New York in order to allow James Ford to oversee the mixing process.

An instant success in Britain, the album was also the band’s biggest success to date in the United States. With American gaining a taste for their very regional brand of songwriting, Arctic Monkeys are set to fly out to New York for some very special shows.

The band have already confirmed a show at Terminal 5 on December 11th. Completely sold out, tickets flew out of the box office within minutes of the gig being confirmed.

Arctic Monkeys are now due to play an extra date at the venue to cope with demand. The new night has been confirmed for December 10th, with tickets for the show currently on sale.

Soon after this Arctic Monkeys are due to return to the UK for an arena tour. With new single ‘Cornerstone’ due for release this month, the band are on fighting form with a limited batch of tickets now available for the jaunt.

Opening with a show in Liverpool on November 13th, the band will then travel throughout the UK before finishing the tour in Ireland on November 26th.

Arctic Monkeys will play the following shows:

November
13 Liverpoo Echo
14 Sheffield Arena
16 Newcastle Metro Arena
17 London Wembley Arena
18 London Wembley Arena
20 Birmingham NIA
21 Manchester MEN Arena
22 Nottingham Trent FM Arena
24 Glasgow SECC
25 Belfast The Odyssey
26 Dublin The O2
