Archie Bronson Outfit have been added to the line up of a special Christmas show at London’s XOYO.
It’s been a big year for Archie Bronson Outfit. The band’s early material marked them out as something different from the norm, indebted to the blues but with a punk influenced sound of their own.
Hooking up with one time DFA kingpin Tim Goldsworthy, the band’s new album ‘Coconut’ introduced a more dancefloor friendly sound. Released to widespread acclaim, it seemed to open up new areas for Archie Bronson Outfit to explore.
Adding dance elements, Archie Bronson Outfit have been given a new lease of life. Upcoming single ‘Chunk’ was an explosion of energy, with disco production team 6th Borough Project adding some 70s glitz in a special remix.
Recently completing a nationwide tour, the band are due to release digital only single ‘Chunk’ on November 18th.
Set to finish the year with a bang, the band have confirmed a special festive show. Archie Bronson Outfit have been asked to headline the annual End Of The Road festival Christmas party.
A seasonal affair, the event has grabbed hold of the much talked about new arts venue XOYO. Taking place on December 16th, Archie Bronson Outfit join a typically varied line up at the event.
Support slots are set to be confirmed, with performances scheduled from Singing Adams and more. Guest Djs will keep the crowd entertained on the night, with Christmas presents for the first people through the door.
