Arcade Fire are the first name to be announced for next summer's instalment of Primavera.
Arcade Fire like to do things differently. The campaign for the band's new album 'Reflektor' involved a global poster campaign… which didn't include the band's name.
Out now, the band's name sparked a flurry of rumours yesterday (November 4th) with the Primavera organisers lining up a special announcement. In the end, news broke via a humble poster campaign.
Placing a large format poster on Portal de l’Àngel, a main street in the centre of Barcelona, without any warning organisers named Arcade Fire as the first band on next year's line up.
Alongside this, reformed indie rock legends Neutral Milk Hotel are set to play the Spanish event, with plenty more acts due to be confirmed over the coming weeks and months.
