Aphex Twin and Erykah Badu will headline this year’s Forwards Festival.
The festival is located on Clifton Downs in Bristol, and retains an adventurous sweep to its booking. Electronic heavyweight Aphex Twin will touch down in the city for a headline slot, following weeks of underground hype.
Aphex Twin makes his triumphant return to Bristol as part of Forwards, and is joined by some incredible talent on the in-depth bill. Neo-soul queen Erykah Badu will headline the Bristol event, and she remains a majestic, hypnotic force within 21st century soul music.
Elsewhere, you can find Bonobo, Primal Scream, and Mercury winner Arlo Parks rubbing shoulders with Swedish punks Viagra Boys, Wesley Joseph, and local heroine Katy J Pearson.
Yasmin Lacey touches down in Bristol for the event, with No. 1 chart star Raye also confirmed for the festival. Forwards is due to welcome Olivia Dean and Aussie party-starters Confidence Man, alongside Amyl and the Sniffers, Leftfield, and Jockstrap.
Ticket pre-sale opens at 10am on March 23rd. General sale for the festival opens at 10am on March 24th.
Forwards Festival runs between September 1st – 2nd.
