After years spent mastering their art to craft one of the year’s best albums so far in the shape of ‘Merriweather Post Pavillion’, Baltimore psych-pop dons Animal Collective are set to hit the UK for a series of shows, which will now culminate in their biggest UK headline date come August.
Having released their eight album in January, (read the Clash Music review of ‘Merriweather Post..here) the band instantly went on to sell out London’s KOKO venue on two consecutive nights, with the Brixton date on the 20th August set to do the same.
The Animal Collective are also set to play this year’s All Tomorrows Parties festival in New York, which will be curated by The Flaming Lips and take place in September.
