One of the most outspoken men in modern music Alec Empire is set to return to the UK for a series of tour dates.
Emerging from a newly re-unified Germany, Alec Empire grew up with a deep distrust of Western Capitalism. Not that the young musician has any love for state planned socialism, gaining a deep distrust of government.
With Atari Teenage Riot the singer blended his two loves – hardcore techno and hardcore punk – to produce something truly incendiary. Sparking a genuine political riot at an open air show in their homeland the band produced a series of ear splitting records before collapsing due to exhaustion in 1999.
Since then, Alec Empire has experimented with various dance styles. Producing a chaotic, outspoken brand of techno the producer returned last year with his new album ‘The Golden Foretaste Of Heaven’.
Still an industrious worker, Alec Empire released a follow up album within 12 months. ‘Shiver’ is a stunning return, demonstrating that the singer has lost none of his appetite for demonstration.
Now Alec Empire is set to tour the UK. A stunning live act, the singer will play a short burst of solo dates as well as a joint show with Patrick Wolf in London on November 19th.
Alec Empire has confirmed the following tour dates:

18 Newport TJs
19 London O2 Academy Islington
20 Birmingham Eddie’s
21 Manchester Club Academy
22 Edinburgh GRV
