A Winged Victory For The Sullen are set to complete a full British tour this January.
Released earlier this year, the debut album from A Winged Victory For The Sullen has taken on a life of its own. Spreading via word of mouth, critical adulation has helped spur on the duo’s wonderful mixture of drone and avant classical.
Another fantastic addition to the Erased Tapes catalogue, A Winged Victory For The Sullen have – for British fans, at least – only ever existed on record.
Now the pair have confirmed plans for a full British tour. Taking place in the appropriately wintery month of January, A Winged Victory For The Sullen will open the shows with a visit to Manchester on January 14th.
Travelling to Glasgow’s Oran Mor, other dates include a show in Reading before the pair visit Ireland. The tour wraps up on January 19th with a one off date in Dublin with the sets due to draw on their acclaimed debut album.
Visiting London for a one off show on January 16th, A Winged Victory For The Sullen are set to play Cecil Sharpe House.
