Sheffield post-rock outfit 65daysofstatic have confirmed a series of extra UK tour dates.
Post rock is not the most exact of terms. But in the case of 65daysofstatic, the name is perhaps appropriate. Over the course of their studio albums the band have proved themselves to be post-rock, post-electronic… pretty much post-everything.
A whirlwind of riffs and production, 65daysofstatic recently announced their hugely anticipated new album ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’. A stunning return, it finds the group experimenting with a new found economy.
Short, sharp and to the point the album crams more ideas into one space than ever before. 65daysofstatic have celebrated the release of ‘We Were Exploding Anyway’ with a new competition in co-operation with ClashMusic.
The band have kindly donated a new track, which fans can download and remix to their hearts content. 65daysofstatic will have a look at the final entries, with one lucky winner scooping a host of top prizes.
