The low budget, atmospheric horror phenomenon, ‘Paranormal Activity’, is set to be release on DVD and Blu-Ray on March 22nd.
Following a hugely successful run at the cinema, grossing nearly $150,000,000, the edge-of-your-seat ghost story is soon to prompt many more sleepless nights with this opportunity to view at home.
The film follows a young couple as their home is beset by the titular paranormal activity. In an effort to document the going-ons they set up a video camera and discover some terrifying happenings. Made for a reported $15,000 by independant film maker Oren Peli, it went on to become one of 2009’s most successful, and acclaimed, film releases.
The DVD/Blu-Ray release also contains an alternative ending, “Film Your Own Paranormal Activity” short films, an introduction by Director Oren Peli and an audio commentary by Director Oren Peli.
