The story of Oasis is set to be told in a new documentary – and you could be involved.
Oasis were one of British music’s most popular acts, selling albums by the truckload. On their seminal first two albums the group helped to define Britpop, giving the nation’s chart run down a distinct swagger.
Enduring line up changes, internal rows and even an onstage assault Oasis split last year after the Gallagher brothers fought backstage before a French festival.
Ending almost seventeen years of success, the band’s story is now set to be told by the people who know it best – the fans. A forthcoming documentary is seeking help from fans to help give their insights into Oasis.
Produced in conjunction with the band’s own Big Brother Recordings, the new documentary is also being made by Pulse Films – previously responsible for Blur’s re-union documentary ‘No Distance Left To Run’.
Urging fans of all ages to contribute, the film makers are seeking entries from across the world. To get involved, simply read the guidelines on the official Oasis website.
