Jack White For Bond

Singer To Duet On Theme

Lead singer in the White Stripes, guitar slinger in The Raconteurs, Jack White is set for another notable addition to his CV when he records the theme song to the new James Bond movie.

According to reports, White will record the theme song with American R&B singer Alicia Keys – the pair going down in the record books as the first ever duet on a Bond theme.

The reports follow strong rumours that Welsh singer Duffy was odds-on to sing the track, with bookmakers slashing odds on the “Mercy” star becoming the next Shirley Bassey. However, the new film – titled “Quantum of Solace” – will instead be soundtracked by an all American team.

According to Billboard, Jack White not only wrote and produced the song but he will also play drums on the track. The new song will be titled “Another Way To Die” – not to be confused with previous Bond efforts “You Only Live Twice” and “Die Another Day”.

“Quantum Of Solace” will once again star British beefcake Daniel Craig, and will be released in the US on November 7th.
