Birmingham’s most exciting musical event,Gigbeth 2008, is upon us yet again, and in true Halloween spirit, Clash has tickets up for grabs – more treat than trick, however.
The event will see performances from Kano, The Young Knives, Sugarhill Gang, Guillemots and tons more – all you have to do is figure out a way of getting around to seeing all the bands. The celebration will sprawl across Birmingham’s many venues, and will include expansive DJ sets and live band sets for the entire two days. Imagine SWSW flooded with cheap lager, minus the rodeo and plaid shirts and you’re getting close.Gigbeth 2008 will take place on the 7th, 8th & 9th November.
Thanks to the 4Talent Stage, which this year features performances from up-and-coming Dubstep outfit Iain Woods & The Psychologist and piano virtuoso Richard Batsford (an eclectic bunch, you’ll agree) we have 2 full weekend tickets up for grabs. Which means you can argue it out with your mates over who to go and see. To enter simply tell us which Baggy Brummie act released the album ‘Love It When I Feel Like This..’ last year. Tell Us Here
