Because it’s not quite yet pay day and because someone (probably, somewhere) once said that accessories maketh the outfit, this week’s Wish List is courtesy of those purveyors of plastic, Tatty Devine.
Part of the duo’s Jeremy Deller collaboration – an offshoot of the Turner Prize winner’s ‘Love Is Enough’ exhibition – this brooch pays homage to one of the exhibition’s focal points, William Morris (Andy Warhol is the other).
A contemporary interpretation of Victorian era cameo’s, the Perspex piece features the designer’s silhouette surrounded by one of his trademark textile designs enclosed in a gold oval; an ideal accompaniment for lapels in high places.
