The very first unisex collection from VFiles – VFiles Sport Plus – is here, answering the prayers of VFiles fans everywhere.
“We created VFiles Sport Plus as a way to put our voice amongst the mix of the incredible designers we’re already lucky to feature,” tells founder Julie Anne Quay, of a catalogue that includes Hood by Air, KTZ and Moschino.
Modelled by students, actors and artists – each a member of the online VFiles community – the collection of jerseys, crop tops, leggings and shorts, is the work of Erin Magee and Zachary Ching.
While the former has been Head of Production at Supreme for over a decade (as well as Creative Director of the kitsch tainted, MadeMe label) – and is predominantly responsible for the design – the aesthetic of the pieces were nudged by Ching, the brand’s store director.
Already available online and at the New York shop, in the UK the line will be a Harvey Nichols exclusive as of next month, while Colette in Paris, GR8 in Japan and Canada’s Holt Renfrew have also been passed the honours.
