It had to happen. Before too long someone was going to give us the go ahead
to get our gravelly voices on the internet airwaves. In the immortal words
of Jade Ewen, it’s our time – Clash’s time to stand up and be counted, show
who we really are, spark the internet radio revolution, and play some
records and stuff.
Clash will be commandeering the U:Music studio tomorrow for two hours from
11:00am to 1:00am on Wednesday June 10th. Aside from the excellent quality
chat between our co-hosts Matt Bennett and Ian Richardson, we’ve also got a
range of special guests, competition prizes and other treats to keep you
listening.
Among the highlights we’ve got our latest Clash cover stars, the Gossip
speaking to us (almost) live in a pre-recorded Clash interview. We’ll be
joined in the studio by British legends Cornershop for some blind reviewing
of the latest releases. Californian band Fol Chen will be flying in for
some hard talk prior to taking to the stage at the Clash Live showcase at
Hoxton Bar & Kitchen. And we’ve got One Handed Music’s electronic maestro
Paul White in session for an exclusive minimix.
