The Watson Twins, previously heard on the ‘Rabbit Fur Coat’ album by Jenny Lewis, released their own full length debut this week, ‘Fire Songs’, and ClashMusic has a track from it from your listening pleasure.
The identical twins hail from Kentucky and bring a soothing country/folk sound topped with the girls dna enhanced harmonies. The album also contains a cover of The Cure’s ‘Just Like Heaven’ which the girls succeed in transporting from the gloomy, dark UK to Kentucky’s sun kissed, laidback expanse.
