Hello there.

I’m The Pictish Trail. I’ve just released my debut album, Secret Soundz Vol.1, on Fence Records. I run that very same label with my good pal King Creosote. I live in Fife. I’m 26, and a Libra.

Those nice folks at Clash Music have asked if i’d put together a tour blog. I’ve just been on tour, y’see. I was gonna try and do this blog whilst on tour. But i didn’t have a computer with me. Or a nearby kettle.

Where should i start? I guess Bestival was the start … although it wasn’t a Pictish Trail gig. It was a King Creosote gig, that one. I’m gonna start there anyway.

DAY SIX – READING -> SALISBURY -> LARMER TREE GARDENS (end of the road festival)

DAY SEVEN – END OF THE ROAD -> GILLINGHAM -> WINCHESTER -> BIRMINGHAM -> ANSTRUTHER
