Listen carefully… you can almost hear the rustling of Florida waves, the breeze flowing across the sand.
The Drums scream ‘summer!’ like a Brit abroad. Hailing from Florida, the band moved to New York in order to get their joyous odes to life under the sun heard by a larger audience.
Suffice to say, the gamble has paid off. Last year’s appropriately titled EP ‘Summertime’ was a huge hit, supplying indie fans with some decidedly unseasonal fare.
Released in the midst of the harshest winter in 30 years, their sunshine anthems almost single-handedly halted the flow of the ice. Touring across Britain, The Drums melted hearts and a fair slice of the country.
