See the year out in style! Come celebrate another fine 12 months of musical adventure courtesy of Clash…
As the year winds down, it’s time to reflect on the year’s musical exploits – from both home and abroad – with a massive Clash party befitting the advances made in sound throughout 2008.
The Clash Revue – held at Camden’s Proud Galleries on December 3rd; doors at 7.30pm – will be an event to mirror the musical delights littering 2008. This year was distinct in that many of the strongest albums were debuts from very new talents. With the likes of Foals, Late Of The Pier, Vampire Weekend, Duffy, Fleet Foxes, Laura Marling and MGMT breaking through, it was definitely a year for the new schools of thinking and playing. The big guns were rolled out towards the end of the year, too, as the Clash covers demonstrated, with Oasis, Kings of Leon and The Killers all returning to the fold.
So come join us, revel in all things Clash, enjoy one hell of a party and, of course, a stonking line-up. Appearing will be Simian Mobile Disco (DJ set), David Holmes (DJ set), Buraka Som Sistema (DJ/MC set), XX Teens, Beardyman and Baddies.
You can win entry to the Clash Revue by entering our competition. Simply answer the following question:
What was the title of David Holmes’ last album?
