Clash heads Westwards to the annual South By South West festival in Austin, Texas with a wagon train of the UK’s best talent in tow.
While the Clash showcase in 2007 brought the world’s attention to Jack Penate, Plan B, The Rumble Strips, The Holloways, The Sunshine Underground and Fujiya & Miyagi, this year we have excelled ourselves with quite possibly the world’s most famous breaking band as the headliners, and a host of refined Clash staples joining them for the trans-Atlantic occasion.
This year our showcase boasts Carbon/Silicon, The Pigeon Detectives, Make Model, Noah and the Whale, Peggy Sue and the Pirates at Friends, 208 E. 6th Street, Austin, Texas from 7.30pm – 2am.
While we’re out in the States we’ll be blogging our experiences and have roped in some famous friends to drop by and let us know how their SXSW 2008 is going.
