How would you spend your last day alive?
James Blunt would be drowning in coca-cola…

Where would you like to wake up?
I’d be at home in Ibiza in the sunshine. Up in the hills, able to look out across Ibiza itself and across the sea and across Formentera, the island, in the distance.
What would you like to achieve on your last day?
I’m sure it’s a cliché but I’d like to see as many of my friends and family as possible in that day. So I’d have my family around, I’d have my friends around, just to clock in with them.
You host a Last Supper – who’s coming?
Well, aside from friends and family then I suppose it would be good to get some entertainment along. So we might as well get Ricky Gervais, to keep everyone happy. I’d invite Carrie Fisher along, too, because she’d bring a bit of humour to the whole thing. You’d probably need a few dead comedians, actually – might really make it entertaining!
What’s on the menu?
Although this is probably a place for great food I’m more of a junk food eater so I’d really love to have an In-N-Out Burger, flown in from California, and incredible amounts of Coca-Cola because that’s how stylish and classy I am!
What would be your biggest regret?
I’ve toured so much for the last 14 years and perhaps along the way I haven’t clocked in with a few of those friends as much as I could have done.
What would your final words be?
“Last one to die is a ninny!” Either that, or: “Let’s get fucked up!” Something inspirational.
Who would you like to meet at the pearly gates of Heaven?
I don’t really think I’m going to get in, actually. It would be nice to be at the gates but I think my name isn’t on the list. I’m just going to be asking St. Peter directions to the other place.
Describe your vision of Heaven.
Heaven, I imagine, would probably look very similar to the inside of Pacha nightclub. Everyone’s beautiful, and everyone’s in love… everyone’s having a good time!
If you could be resurrected the next day what would you come back as?
A scientist. I think at this stage we probably need science to help us find ways to live in ways that are more sustainable, really. We consume our planet’s resources at such an incredible rate that we probably need to look at that before we destroy the natural world around us.
