Once upon a time, Snoop Dogg was banned from the UK.
In the mid 90s, the rapper was such hot property that a tabloid frenzy accompanied his first attempts to tour the country. Having his visa revoked, Snoop Dogg was forced to return to the United States, tail firmly between legs.
All that is in the past now. Snoop Dogg returned to the UK this summer, re-visiting his ‘Doggystyle’ album at the Lovebox Weekender before turning his attention to a full scale arena tour.
Hitting Liverpool’s Echo Arena last Thursday (October 6th) ClashMusic popped down to catch a hip hop icon in all his pomp.
