Saucony Originals this season has teamed up with a second Massachusetts born brand in a bid to reimagine the Shadow Original.
Partnering Penfield – traditionally dealing in the outerwear world of puffa jackets, quilted gilets and faux fur hoods – the two (of Lexington and Hudson, respectively), dipped into the latter’s extensive fabric library especially for the occasion.
The result – a capsule collection of just three newbies – sees the style adopt hiking boot laces and the Penfield 60/40 Cotton-Nylon; Teflon coated, the fabric that made the final cut has been at the brand’s disposal since its 1975 inception.
The new Saucony Originals x Penfield 60/40 Shadow Original – to give it its full title – drops online tomorrow.
