Ringo Deathstarr make dirty, nasty, evil pop songs.
Sure, each track may be served with a colossal dose of noise and guitar pedal driven feedback, but underneath is a tasty pop morsel just waiting to be consumed.
New album 'Pure Mood' will be released on November 20th, with renowned house of fuzz Club AC30 once again assisting the band in their quest to blow your mind (and ear drums).
Stepping up to the plate, Ringo Deathstarr have cast their gaze upon the week's single releases.

Jamie Lawson – 'Wasn't Expecting That'
This sounds like some praise and worship music, and the video looks like a life insurance commercial. It also really reminds me of this Travis Tritt video, for 'If I Lost You'.

Natalie La Rose ft. Fetty Wap – 'All Around The World'
A real 'everysong' to appeal to the 'everyman', complete with butts, nose piercings and weird tropical / sci-fi outfits. Great!

Nick Jonas – 'Levels'
My first time listening to a Nick Jonas song. The bass part is pretty cool, and Nick sounds like a combination of Justin Timberlake and Phil Collins. The video needs more sex.

Philip George and Anton Powers – 'Alone No More'
Sounds like some 90s Euro dance music bullshit – reminds me of a serious version of the Ween song 'Friends'. Probably the most boring song on this list. The club lifestyle, man!

Squeeze – 'Happy Days'
Happy dads playing pop-rock in the style of Paul McCartney – not the worst thing in the world.
– – –
Yolanda Be Cool & DCUP – 'Soul Makossa (Money)'
This is a good dance/party tune because there's nothing stupid like a verse, or lyrics, or a delayed, crazy sounding robot alien woman singing. It just looks like they're having the time of their lives out there with their dogs and shit.
