For a music fan, few thrills compare to tracking down that treasured piece of vinyl, a release which has remained beyond your grasp for just too long. Well, how about receiving it directly from the label who pieced it together? Or even prising it from the grasp of the artist who recorded it?
That's the thinking behind the Independent Label Market. Returning to Spitalfields in London on Saturday July 13th, fans were greeted with the largest array of labels to date, alongside some extremely special, limited-edition releases.
The queues began early in the morning, with crowds moving from stall to stall as the sun rose on the hottest day of the year so far. Clash was there in force, handing out some rare back issues and perusing the wares on offer.
Chatting with some of the stallholders, you can listen back to those interviews below, in addition to checking out some exclusive photography from the event.
